Santa Cruz County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update 2025
Santa Cruz County has completed drafting its 2025 Update Hazard Mitigation Plan to reduce losses resulting from natural disasters and wants your input. This plan strives to identify and reduce vulnerability of the County’s residents, visitors, and infrastructure to future hazard events.
The public review period was open from September 29, 2025 to October 20, 2025 – we thank you and appreciate your feedback. The draft documents circulated for public review are linked below – this platform provides the opportunity to collaboratively comment on the HMP! Please see below to view the draft documents.
The plan is organized into an executive summary, and two volumes; volume 1 contains the base county plan while volume 2 contains the jurisdictional annexes, each is accessible through the links below.
